IF you can access the camera's web page while it's got an IP address, go in and set up a static IP address of 192.168.#.23. Give the same subnet addresss and gateway for your router. Set manual DNS to your ISPs DNS on the camera as well. This is what I use and camera has worked well with Staic addressing.

Try using Single mode G or N or Mixed G and N on the main host router, WPA2 only, manual channel 11 if it's not being used by neighbors.

The D-Link tech and I have tried everything you mentioned except for changing the router to single mode. I can view the camera local just fine, has a great picture and the event recording is nice after you turn the sensitivity down. Just can't connect to their server

They emailed me yesterday with this response " the issue that you have was already raised to our Network Engineers and they are currenlty working on the fix. At the moment we Technical Support team does not have a time table as to when the issue will be resolved but rest assured when a fix is available, it will be posted on the mydlink support site."

May still be working on it. I've forwarded this on for review. Please be patient.

I can always look at the recordings when I get home so waiting isn't that big of a deal. Bought a second one for the back yard. The video quality is awesome. Have them both set to record 3 seconds before event so not to miss anything.

I'm having the same problem with the DCS-2330L I just purchased - I emailed Tech Support, but haven't heard back yet.  I've tried with the original firmware and 1.12 and have used the setup downloaded from the DLink website.  I've factory reset and tried again and tried both Ethernet, WPS, and manual Wi-Fi setup.  The same "cannot connect to internet" error has been received under both Windows 10 (with Edge and with IE as default) and Mac OS X El Capitan, as well as through the Windows Phone MyDlink Lite app.  I have the router setup to assign a specific IP address and am able to access the camera perfectly over that address, but the software-based setup never completes and the direct-access site doesn't show any options for connecting to MyDlink like are shown online.  I've exhausted every option I can think of to get this to work and have had absolutely no luck whatsoever.  I bought this for the MyDlink Cloud, Windows Phone app, and SmartThings support, but having a locally-accessible camera without Smart Home support is pretty much useless.  Has anyone tried anything else that worked??

Link>Welcome!

  • What region are you located?

What Mfr and model is the main host router?
What wireless modes are you using?

Can you access the cameras web page?
I recommend assigning a static IP address to the camera ON the camera using 192.168.#.23. Ensure uPnP and uPnP Port Fowarding is enabled ON the camera.

I'm in California using an ASUS RT-AC3200 with router-assigned static IP of 192.168.#.5 with uPnP and uPnP Port Forwarding enabled.  I've tried both Ethernet and WiFi - not sure which wireless mode, though, when I tried that.  I'm able to access the camera's webpage locally with the IP address and remotely through the uPnP port forwarding.  Everything seems to be functioning perfectly except for the MyDlinkCloud function (can't get to it through setup from Mac El Capitan, Windows 10 or 7, or App - it isn't a listed settings option on the camera's webpage) and SmartThings connection, although the latter I assume to be caused by the former.

Firmware Version  1.12.00
Hardware Version A
Agent Version 2.0.19-b51n

There is some things going on with the MDL service and is set to fully take place this friday. Not sure if this is reason for not being able to get going with the service.

I presume you have set up a mydlink.com account first at the site, then attempted to have the set up SW associate the camera to the account created on the MDL site?

Also when entering into MDL, there should be a notification of installation of a universal player plug in when using IE11 or any other supported browser.
