some devices connect. some don't
« on: March 01, 2010, 04:01:14 PM »

i have a wireless d-link wbr-1310 router and i can't seem to get it working right. currently the pc is hardwired to it and my ps3 and xbox 360 connect to it wirelessly. other devices like my wii or zune or laptop cannot connect. i have reset the router to its default many time, updated firmware and added mac addresses for devices. the laptop can connect to the network but opening up a browser results in nothing, it searches for proxy settings and then after 60 sec says unable to open. any advice or hints are greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance

If your WBR-1310 is a Rev A, you could upgrade to different model firmware for better stability and even turn it into a WBR-2310 if you want. Just check the other posts on how to do it.
