Problem with wireless adapter? DIR-615 Router
« on: April 29, 2011, 04:13:59 PM »

Hello,

I recently set up my DIR-615 on my wireless netbook.  Everything worked fine and I could get online.  But then when I changed the password on the router, it bumped me off and now says Internet isn't available.  My phone can connect to Internet but not my netbook anymore.  When my netbook tries to troubleshoot it keeps saying "problems with router and adapter."  Can anyone help?

is there a wireless profile on the netbook that was set up. This could keep the old PW.
What security mode did you set up for the Wireless? WPA, WPA2 and what cipher type did you use? Auto? TPIK or AES?

Once you set up the new PW, you'll need to enter it into the network and use it.
