Dear all,
for some time I try to install motion detection on the cam directly.
I even installed a machine with xp and ie6 , ie8 , but I never get a picture in ie to be able to setup motion detection .
Do you have any solution on that? a different software I could use? :'(

I bought even the dlink app for android, but was not able to define the motion detection window.

any help is much appreciated, ::)
Regards & thank you

Try Firefox. Also make sure your version of Java is current.

Thank you Javalwayer,

I have a version A  with 1.123404 I only got it working once...since then only a blank black screen.

If I use firefox it is asking to install camclictrl.msi which it does and then I get also no live window, just a blank frame where the picture should be.

streaming from the cam, remote access via ipcam etc. is working fine.

just no setup on the web site of the cam itself.

should it be possible to see the live cam using direct access to the cam , with firefox on ubuntu, linux?

thx

Dear all,
just a solution, change to http & https, login with http and you will get a picture,...maybe the security certificate self assigned does not let java run or ? ::)

anyway, was able to set the motion window.... ;D
