Title: WBR-1310 and DD-WRT
Post by: johntrottier on July 22, 2009, 07:28:42 AM
There was an article this morning stating a security vulnerability had been forund in the DD-WRT open source firmware. The artical also stated that some D-Link products were affected.
Is the standard firmware for the WBR-1310 based on this software and is the router vulnerable to this attack?

The report on the discovery is here

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/07/21/critical_ddwrt_router_vuln/

If the router is vulnerable, what steps need to be taken?

D-Link does not use the DD-WRT code.
