Title: Active TV software will not install

I use a windows XP SP2 and I've upgraded my firmware. The difficulty I'm having is installing the active tv software on my pc; it tells me that "installation failed and set up will now exit". Is there a way to fix this problem? or is a peculiar problem with my pc?. Thanks.

I had a similar install issue.  I found that after I upgraded .NET framework (I had beta) to a full version.  The install completed.  The full version came with another program, not sure if you can find it somewhere else. Hope this helps.

Yes goto Windows updates then goto optional updates and make sure you have NetFramwork 1.1 installed. You will also need Windows Media Player 11 installed.

Also try to download a fresh copy from the support site.
