Title: 503 error service unavailable
Post by: RYAT3 on December 06, 2013, 08:32:56 AM
Too many connections in use on 1 of my 2230s.

Might be time to reboot it?

It quit doing the auto icr a week ago and has been stuck in night mode. I don't see any unknown connections on my other 2230s.

Well.. started trouble shooting. .
Was able to connect to external ip on local network.
Also internal ip.

Log file kept timing out.
SD card stopped recording 12/3 at 4pm.
Pulled sd card to view.
Rebooted device through f/w. Can't reconnect.
Power cycled. . Still can't connect through wireless.

Going To attach to ethernet cable next and post update later.

Oh yeah reboot & power cycle appeared normal startup. .. ir cut on off.  Power & led lights off.

So I just hope the network settings are only hosed for Some reason

Attached to ethernet cable. . Worked like a champ.  Turned on wireless to my network. . Didn't work.. network loss/reconnect messages in Log.

Reentered password.. Pulled ethernet. .

Works.

Put sd card back in. . Set up 24x7 recording. . Everything looks good again.

Logs look fine. . It's like the camera just gummed up and gave up.  F/w 1.10.

The Other 2230 next to it has shown no symptoms.

Thanks for the post.  I had nothing to offer in response that would help you, but I have seen this once.  I'm not sure how I got it into that state.  Other than that it has been a stable (if buggy) camera.

Just wanted to let you know that some of us out there are reading even if we can't help.

Thanks.  Hopefully it helps someone else out with a 503.

I found nothing in forums about 503 errors except on a router.
