Did you upgrade FW?
What version of FW is currently loaded?

If this is still not working for you, then I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and inquire about hot-spot mode to see if manual channel configurations are support for this mode.

Hi Piet,

Were you able to ever get the wireless channel to change? I am looking at purchasing this device too for use with hotspots.

I have a similar device from another manufacturer and I am unable to change the wireless channel when that device is in WISP (hotspot) mode too.
