40MHZ Channel Width in N mode only

I just noticed they added a 40mhz channel width only mode back to the DIR-655 after firmwares 1.20+.

Does this mode have the good neighbor policy disabled, or will it still scan the frequency first?

This 40mhz only mode finally keeps my connection stable on all my clients to between 270-300mpbs, but I wish I was still able to load firmware 1.11 on this router so I can ensure I have an unfriendly neighbor router, I am worried about this 1.32b02beta3final.
