Yes it's going, I can't reasonably say everything is correct.

I found out what is using the missing ip. I forgot that my printer was still on when adding devices last night and I'm assuming, because the config for the router never shows my printer using the wifi that is has assigned it self to the 192.168.0.101 ip so that blows up the lease expiring thinking.

I use firefox for configuring the router which I did for my DGL-4300.

In this day and age of the internet and browsers, based on a company like Dlink, am I to be convinced that I use or should use a different browser for configuring? There are major players in the browser business we know that, and Dlink surely knows that as well. So suggesting a different browser made me even more frustrated.

The password forgetting after save is a firmware issue, also I shouldn't have had to reboot the router to add the second pc.

I did not receive this router for free, I am an end user that put 200 bucks down.

Hard to, can't, and will NOT recommend this router to anyone. I am really that unhappy with my purchase.

I will put my contact info below, so if anyone wishes to speak to me in person, or in writing. I'm willing to explain my reasons for not recommending this router.

I have removed your information to protect you and your privacy. I recommend that you phone contact D-Link support and talk to someone about this. If your unhappy with this router, I recommend asking them if they might exchange it for a different model router that is comparable to the DGL-5500.

I think is router is maturing and is working well for me and others. There is a process to using it as it has new UI and FW abilities not seen in other routers. Were all trying to get to know it some and use it. I presume that this is not what your into and should find a different model router that better fits your needs.

Good Luck.

Good to hear. If you can test with ABE ON after setting 100.00 and 10.00 manually. Mines currently on this and doing very well. Even though last night I could not sign on to XBL correctly. Keep getting disconnected when starting the game up from the dashboard. Not sure what was going on...finally got in...

Whats your ISP Speed UP and down and your ISP modem Model and Mfr?

Keep us posted please.

Let us know if you can test with ABE enabled.

Just FYI, this is a U.S. only router. Support will be very probably limited for other regions just so you know.  ::)

Thanks for sharing your info...

I would like to report that there was a bug in My Network tab. It could not show or show a blank when there are more than 100 clients or devices  :(

Second bug is about the restart button, it takes too long to reboot the device one it is clicked, about 20 second before the router starts to reboot.

Please fix those errors  :)

Turn off any security SW while managing the router. My reboots happen with in about 3 seconcs as I do notice it takes that long for the web browser to refresh.

Does this happen on other browsers? Try IE or FF?

Be ware that your region does not support the use of this router so there may be limited support there. This is a NA region only router.

I have tried all the browsers ( Maxthon, IE, Firefox ), the issue is the UI of the router, not the web browsers.

For me, the reboot takes around 10-20 seconds with all the SW off.

About the limitation of the region, I have nothing to comment. However, I just want to let the developers know about those errors and build a firmware that support outside of NA region soon.

P/s: I currently own 3 of them. Since I have a very high hope for this router, I will wait patiently for the official firmware to be released :)

Might not be an issue here in the NA as I've not seen this nor has anyone else reported it...thanks for sharing though...I'll keep an eye out for it if anyone notices here...

The router did not response after 3 days usage. I am running the latest Beta version.

The stable version also got the same error after 4-5 days of running.

Hope D-link can fix this soon :)
