I don't think it is but not sure why it would be. What functionality are you looking for with the router?

Routers don't usually support these kinds of operations. Routers are ment to be online all the time. You can set a schedule to turn OFF The wifi then back on if you need. If you want to fully turn OFF a router, you could connect it to a power timer and set a schedule. Otherwise you can't control a router with something like Alexa.  ::)

Sry. Routers suppoert this kind of actions. TP LINK have it. And IFTTT have the app to D-link...

My question is:

Is possible to connect D-882 to IFTTT?

Thank you!

Just because one Mfr doesn't mean others support it. TP=Link is not D-Link.

No.

Yes. Is not TP-LINK. TP-LINK sux... But you just told that routers don't support this kind of thing. But, yes supports...

I'm with the same question: Does DIR882 support IFTTT?

Thank you!

The 882 works with Alexa and Google but does not have IFTTT. I will message the router group to make sure but I do not see it in the datasheet or spec guide.

It is being put in more and more routers and I am sure D-Link will support it in the near future. I see tp-link, Asus, and Google have it in a few models.

TP-LINK says that supports. But doesn't work. I tested C7 for a week. And is horrible. Lost of connection, etc.

IFTTT is a plus. But no needed.

Can I connect DIR-882 with Google Assistence?

Thank you!

Yes but I am honestly not sure how robust it is. I believe just basic commands. I am trying to look up a list now.

IFTTT is going to be in D-Link's new models coming out later this year - COVR-C1213, COVR-1102, DIR-1950, and DIR-1750 so far. Not sure when or if coming to the US market. If you are not in the US you may want to contact D-Link in your region for these products.

I see skills for D-Link routers at IFTTT.com so it's being used but of course doesn't say which routers :)

I don't recommend any TP-Link.  :P I also tried there C5400x gaming router. I saw problems with it and asked for help in the forums. Got zero response. Works ok for single gaming configuration, not good for more then that.

Learning something new every day.
