3rd Party Security Software Configurations

* Turn off all anti virus and firewall programs on PC while testing. 3rd party firewalls are not generally needed when using routers as they are effective on blocking malicious inbound traffic.
What driver are you using?
It's possible that the driver and this model DWA is not compatible with Windows 7x64.

FRANKKGSPEED:
When i first intalled the card windows got the driver for me and i don't know where to find what is the driver ! And who can tell me if this card is not made for windows 7 x64 users ??

FurryNutz:
Well there is a Vista x64 driver on D-Links main web site however that was last done in 2007. I presume that maybe the Vista driver may work however still, it could not.

You should completely uninstall the current driver after you download this one. Then reboot and hit F8 on preboot to get the DOS Boot screen to load safe mode options. Select the Boot with Disable Driver Enforcement. Then proceed to boot and install the driver from the main site.

Let us know if this helps any.
