My ONE wish is TIME MACHINE COMPATIBILITY IN OS X 10.7 LION! If I had that, I would be fulfilled. Or, more accurately, I'd actually be able to use my DNS-325.

Seconded. I have a DNS-325 on its way, and a MacBook Air that still has Snow Leopard. I will have to postpone upgrading to Lion until TimeMachine works on the DNS-325 with Lion.

1. When using raid 1, spin both drives up together to reduce the access delay.
2. Documented and configurable support for UPS.
3. An option to synchronise rather than backup in the backup application.
4. An option to send a status e-mail when a scheduled backup completes.

1. That can re-enter the folder from volume_1 p2p. Or they can choose to see and not see it.
2. Improve the Web interface.
3. Translation into Spanish that is total (mail notification)
4. To create new custom reports.
5. The help that appears to the right that you can remove / disable
6. Better menu for navigation within the options.

... and some more, and put

Greetings ,

I do agree that the user Interface could use improving , it is not user friendly but I've managed to get around the programs hassles. I use Windows 7 Professional as my back up system, and don't use any of the software that came with my DNS-325 Drive. if you try to contact D-Link support they are totally useless and can't help.

I still can't get Windows 7 issue resolved as far as getting Windows to remember my user password and I refuse to pay 60 bucks to Microsoft and D-Link has no one that can assist me either so I'm stuck with typing in my user password every time I log off my desktop and back on again.Just got frustrated after calling D-Link Support and then Microsoft and was told they can help if I pay $$$$

Hope they make improvements to the software so it's easier for the paying customer to use.

Better Rsync backups which don't require the rsync daemon.

The standard way to run rsync these days is over ssh, not running a daemon service on the remote machine. For example, rsync.net, an excellent online backup-over-rsync service, doesn't run it. What this means is that on my DNS-325 with fun_plug installed I can type in a simple rsync command to backup to a server which isn't even visible to the rsync-backup wizard through the GUI.

I put the list to put in the first post

[1] TIME MACHINE COMPATIBILITY IN OS X 10.7 LION!
[2] When using raid 1, spin both drives up together to reduce the access delay.
[3] Documented and configurable support for UPS.
[4] An option to synchronise rather than backup in the backup application.
[5] An option to send a status e-mail when a scheduled backup completes.
[6] That can re-enter the folder from volume_1 p2p. Or they can choose to see and not see it.
[7] Improve the Web interface.
[8] Translation into Spanish that is total (mail notification)
[9] The help that appears to the right that you can remove / disable
[10] Information to create reports using variables Personalised own NAS
[11] Improve menus. Are very complex. To get something you have to do a lot here. But simple is better.
[12] Better Rsync backups which don't require the rsync daemon.
[13] More applications.
[14] Provide information to third parties to create programs.
[15] Application management official from terminal or IOS Android
[16] Program to play the multimedia data from another computer with an interface more user friendly.
[17] To send email notifications to multiple email accounts

The beta version ddns function is useless if you set it free with dyndns
Relates the local ip (192.168.1.x) and not public domain so it is useless from the Internet

I explained?

Clarify please. . .
DDNS configured with DYNDNS maps to the local IP and is unresolvable from the Internet?

service configured with dyndns ddns domain directs the local ip (192.168.1 ...) and not the ip (ISP)
