Hi FurryNutz
I set the channel to 13 and disabled HT 20/40 Co-existence. The other settings you mentioned were not there or already set as you posted. Security is set to WPA2/AES only. I'm still getting issues with 2.4GHz connected devices. eg. Streaming video will stutter and pause using the 868L but will play flawlessly when using the Netgear.
I have 6 devices that are connected on the 2.4GHz band: a Laptop, Wii-U, 2 x 3DS, Logitech Harmony Hub and an AirPlay portable speaker. Most are usually in standby mode unless being used.
There are a few other routers nearby but I can't see how they would cause the problem for the 868L while the Netgear works fine. Likewise the 868L and Netgear are both at the same location in the house.
Some other things I've observed since using the Netgear instead of the 868L for the 2.4GHz band:
- The Harmony Hub has a iPhone app that would rarely work as it was unable to find the Hub on the network. With the Netgear in place I've never had a problem with the app
- The portable speaker would often stop playing music that was streamed to it. This hasn't happend with the Netgear yet
- The Wii-U and 3DSes would often have network connection problems when downloading or playing games that used internet.
Anything else you can suggest to fix this?
The 868L is still under waranty so I'm seriously thinking of returning it and getting another one.
