Title: DCS 5220 Wireless Web Cam
Post by: jesstan on December 17, 2009, 12:06:15 AM
Hi, I just have a new Laptop on Windows 7 and when I tried to link to my home webcam after installing Active-X, it has the following error message after the input of password.

==> Can not open registry!

Anybody has any idea what I should do?

I was able to view previously using my old laptop.

Are you running anti-virus software on that PC? Have you tried it from another PC?

all that was needed was to add web address to trusted in the internet security options.
fixed vista and windows 7.
so simple.

Yeah your anti-virus software must have raised the Internet security level or it was done manually.
