DCS-960L persistent broadcast of SSID
« on: June 06, 2017, 09:39:29 PM »

Hi.  Both of my DCS-960L cameras are connected to my home WiFi in infrastructure mode with static ip, but WiFi analyzer shows that they persist in broadcasting their own SSID (DCS-960L-XXXX) on the same channel as the home WiFi.   I thought the local AP functionality would turn off when they were established as a client on the home network.  I think there may be interference between the WiFi broadcasting from the cameras and the rest of the wireless network.
I need a way to tell the DLink camera to shut down its own AP functionality.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

What FW version are you using?
Are you using a Static IP address ON the camera or Dynamic? I know that if you set a Static IP address ON the camera, it will broadcast it's SSID.
