firmware 1.03 - schedule reboot not working
« on: February 10, 2017, 10:27:44 PM »

I have 2 of these 960L

960#1 - firmware 1.03. no problem, scheduled reboot is fine, ftp is working as well.
960#2 - firmware 1.03. 3 feet from router, it is offline now for 5 days. however, router(885L) says it is connected, FF browser is trying to load GUI but cannot.  this is the 960L I tried to upgrade to 1.04 that keeps failing.  maybe need a manual firmware upgrade via SDcard.   problem is, I will only go back to this house after 2 months just to power cycle it and fix firmware :(

Bug on firmware 1.03 - Scheduled Reboot is not that robust.

You might want to get some smart plugs to power cycle for you independently of scheduled reboots.  But it sounds like this camera is probably hosed.

I'm not aware of F/W upgrade via SD card...

Just upgraded mine to 1.04.02 after waiting for 3 months to get access to it ( useless as a security system ). Now I get this.
 Unable to access your Inside.
If you cannot access your Inside, please check that:

You have at least 256K of bandwidth
Your Inside is not being blocked by a firewall or an antivirus program
Ready to throw the stuff away, never works when I go away and spend more time trying to get the stuff to work than I do using them.

How are you trying to upgrade?  With the mydlink phone app?  Or mydlink.com?

Go to the product support page for the 960L at dlink.com, download the f/w to a computer, log into the camera's webpage, and upload the F/W.

Reboot is working on my 960L...

Here's the update on my lovable 960L

960#1 - firmware 1.03. still going strong. daily scheduled reboot is fine
960#2 - firmware 1.03. it was dead for 5 weeks since I can't go to its physical location.  Then, a power failure on the neighborhood.  After power restored, TADA!!... this 960L is back and doing it's daily reboot.
