Can't connect to 5ghz and 2.4ghz is terrible
« on: September 01, 2020, 03:37:16 PM »

When I try to search my 5ghz wifi on the repeater dap1530 configutation pag (192.168.0.50) to have a decent wireless internet going from my router to the repeater itself, it only shows the 2.4ghz SSID, so much for a dual band repeter, its more like a single band receiver and dual band transmiter, even if I manually write the 5ghz SSID on the web configuration page (192.168.0.50) it does not work... It can only use the 2.4ghz to receive internet data.
And BTW, on the 2.4ghz it is terrible, even if I use the repeater right next the my router, like touching it, it only gets 20mb of my 250mb internet speed, so it is only usefull as a wired access point.

Had the DAPs FW been updated?
Factory rest the DAP and setup from scratch?
What is the Mfr and model# of the host router the DAP is connected too?
