« on: November 10, 2012, 08:52:25 PM »

got ssh setup
got transmission set up
got it mirroring my drive automatically at 4:00am
installed glib-2.14.6-1.tgz
installed irssi-0.8.15-1.tgz

went to run irssi but its not in the /ffp/start/ directory? How do I run it?

http://forum.dsmg600.info/viewtopic.php?id=5421 was following this but not sure what idconfig in shell means?

Never mind I am an *****.

irssi is the command. But now it flashes black and goes back to prompt.

EDIT:

Telnet instead of SSH and irssi actually gave an error. Googled that and it was missing perl. Installed perl and now it works perfect.

Now just need to get screen working...

Got screen working. Reinstalled every package I had installed (after update funpkg) and ran:

ldconfig /ffp/lib

not sure if the /ffp/lib was required but it came saying skipping /usr/lib as it didn't exist.
