Unicast MAC Address
« on: December 10, 2015, 02:38:08 AM »

I need to assign 2 IP's to two IP Cameras in my DSL2740U Router, but when i choose the DHCP Reserved option it asks firstly sure the IP Address but Secondly an Unicast MAC Address ?????, but i don't know how to find this address, and If there's any way to find it except searching on the camera it self or even it's box  ???, So PLZZZZZ any one can help me to find it or get it by any way , you know that each time the router restarted will assign 2 new IP's randomly so i have also to reconfigure the NVR to catch this two new IP's.

Thanks in advance

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your modem? Look at the sticker under modem.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the modems web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

Try setting a Static IP address ON the cameras that's outside the default IP address pool on the modem, 192.168.1.100 thru.199.
