Title: DGS-1510 28POE Firmware upgrade Error
Post by: Jags007 on May 02, 2015, 11:39:57 AM
Hi Support People,

I have just bought a DGS-1510 28POE SmartPro Switch and the firmware is an old version.  I downloaded the latest firmware from the D-Link site and tried to apply it using the Web GUI but I get an error that says IPV6 not configured.  The error message is correct as I have not configured IPV6 on the switch at all in fact it's only IPV4 configured.  Need some help on applying the firmware as I need to ensure that the switch is stable.

There is a more recent FW update you may want to give a try. Please use the FW update process if it seems applicable or use D-Links process for switches if it's mentioned in any release notes. If you have questions, you might want to phone contact your regional D-Link support office to confirm application of the FW update before attempting. Let us know how it goes.
