Title: DNS-340L can not be detected
Post by: reban on September 15, 2018, 01:10:08 AM
Good morning!

I have a problem with my DN-340L. Since a few month, I can't see it from my computer and from my playstation system. The smb1 is activated on my windows 10 ( I saw that it was an issue).

All the network installation seem to work well, I tested all the cables and switch. All the HDD lights are green, but I can't see or acces it from anywhere. I never upgraded the firmware, but now, I can't.

Have you any idea?

What Mfr and model is the main host router?

Power OFF the DNS, reboot the main host router and PC. Power ON the DNS and try to access the DNS. Check the main host routers connected clients list for the DNS IP address...

Thank you furryNutz: I have many questions

Your first link don't work, It looks like I have no access to this topic. About the informations needed

What Hardware version is your DNS? Look at the sticker behind or under the device.---->H/W ver: A1 F/W ver: 1.01
Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the DNSs web page under status. I  guess I stay with 1.01 because I never did an update... But I can't check that on the DNS web page, because I can't access it.
What region are you located? France

My host router Is a Netgear, but I can't check the model (no sticker on the device).

I tried to restart everything, but I still can't see the DNS.

Regards,

Yvain
