**Note: You must update your router twice to close this security issue. First update the device from the Device Web-GUI using DIR859_FW107b02beta01_20190125_j1o9_middle.bin. Second update the device from theD Device Web-GUI using DIR859_FW107b03_jbli_beta.bin.

Please follow the> FW Update Process to ensure a good FW upgrade is performed.

My router is DIR-859 A3. The wifi speed is normal with FW 1.05. After updating to 1.07(followed the  FW Update Process ), The 2.4ghz works perfectly but the 5GHz speed drops from 250Mbps to 30Mpbs. If i turn off 5Ghz wifi encryption, the speed return to normal.  Is there something wrong with the latest firmware?

No, there is no "smart connect" option on my router and i am using different SSIDs on 2.4 and 5GHz.

What is the connection rate of your wireless device when connected to the 5Ghz radio?

The connection rate is 866.7Mbps and my ISP offers 200Mbps(Download:250Mbps Upload: 35Mbps) internet connections.

Downgrading back to FW 1.05, 5Ghz speed returned to normal(with encryption turned on or off).

I would keep v1.05 loaded. I'll pass this on to D-Link for review.

I have a quick question on the Wireless security selection on DIR-859.  I am able to choose either WPA/WPA2 protection or None.  If I choose WPA/WPA2 protection, my devices show as week security.
Is there any update related to WPA2 WPA3 security?  Please let me know.
