WPA2 compatibility with Apple Airport Extreme Card?
« on: February 12, 2010, 06:33:45 AM »

I have started a thread with the DIR-825 and Apple Airport Extreme Card.  See link:

http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=10973.0

I have tried all encryption possibilities / combinations and cannot get the Apple Airport Extreme Card to accept the WPA2 encryption.  When I set the DIR-825 2.4GHz band to WPA2 / AES encryption, the Airport Extreme Card returns a 169.xxx.xxx (self assigned) IP address.  Does the DIR-825 need a software update to allow the WPA2 encryption on the Airport Extreme Card?

I currently have the DIR-825 2.4GHz band set to WPA / TKIP encryption.  Of course this limits the 2.4GHz channel to "G" speeds on the DIR-825.  Any help or guidance would be welcome.
