Does it true bcos im considering to plug in my hdd docking station. Another question,  1) if i flash custom fw for example goldenorb into dir-505, does the usb can support 3g/4g dongle? 2) does the shareport can still be access using mobile app?

Check the user manual and see if it has USB port usage. I believe it does.

You'll have to consult any 3rd party FW Mfrs for information and support there. We don't support or have information on 3rd party FW and there features and uses.

I try to use my dir-505 in repeater mode, somehow i can't access the storage i plug in into the shareport. Why is that? Does the shareport can only be access using router/ap mode? Can someone help me with this. Tq
