Hi masters!
I have just bought WiFi range extender DAP 1320 N300 from Ebay. I scanned QR code and followed all the instructions- which was very easy and everything went perfect and I got very strong signal in my room where it was weak before green button is on- everything sounds OK, apart from that none of my gadgets findes internet! ::) What could be a reason? ???

Link>Welcome! (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=48135.0)
- What Hardware version is your DAP? Look at the sticker under the DAP.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the DAPs web page under status.
- What region are you located?
What Mfr and model is the main host router?
What wireless modes are you using on the main host router?
What is the distance between the DAP and the main host router?
Can you check the main host routers connected client table to see if the DAP is listed there?
-
Firmware- can't open dap's web page (http://dlinkap1320.local)- it says: no DNS found, maybe this: F/W ver.:2.00
Region- Denmark
Hardware- H/W ver.:B1

Also there is more recent FW for your unit:

However lets see if we can get yours working first. ::)

Router ICOTERA IGW 3000
802.1b/g/n
max 5m (have also tested it right next to the router)
I can't even log into router- it shows the same as if i was login to daps web-system. (igw3000’s server DNS address could not be found.)

When you connect to the router, be sure that your PC is directly connected to the router, not the DAP. Use a LAN cable to connect the PC to the router. Then access the routers web page to check the client table for the DAP.
You might factory reset the DAP and start the install process again. Review the user manual as a guide to help you walk thru the set up wizard.

Ok, I will try to get in the router tomorrow with cable.
I have tried to factory reset 1 time
-
Also set your main host routers wifi to single mode G or N, WPA2 TPIK then try AES only with Single mode N if you can configure this on the router.

Any status on this?

Hi. i'm on easter holiday right now, we are back in about 6days. But last time I tried to get in my wifi router to see if there is my D-link listed- but without success- no access!

Hi. I've just chatted with my internet provider and got bad news- that wifi router they provide is not a real router but just a router option mounted in- so both devices can't comunicate! So min extender is whaste of money. The only thing is to set normal router to the providers with LAN and than it will work!

Issue solved!!!
I have connected my old ASUS router to providers router and extender works without a problem- very strong signal! 👍

Awesome. Glad it's working. Enjoy. ;)
