Title: DCS-2120
Post by: ddalton on December 28, 2007, 09:36:05 AM
I have a DCS-2120 that I purchased on Ebay,  it was brand new and didnt realize the company was shipping me a non US version of the product (Taiwanese ) .  I contacted Dlink and asked them if I could exchange the product for a US version,  they said I couldnt.  Apparently Dlink TW is a different company and they do not honor their products.  So I asked if I could load the US firmware somehow,  They said I also couldnt.  The camera works fine and I have muddled through most of the options but I was hoping someone could tell me how to put the US firmware on the DCS 2120.  I have looked through the linux code and it looks like busybox.

Regards,
Doug

I am very sorry but D-Link US cannot support the use of US firmware on a non-US camera.
