Controlling bandwidth by IP..... possible on DGL 4500?
« on: November 13, 2010, 11:12:00 PM »

Hi

I had a cheap tplink router .. and it has a feature to set bandwidth restrictions per IP.. and it's soo useful...

when i got this DGL 4500 i would've assumed it had such feature, thinking that my cheap tplink router had it ..  but been looking around in the options and no i cant find anything that resembles this kind of feature..

where is it? or is it not present? it would be a major disappointment if this feature isnt on this EXPENSIVE router :(

This router is all about the speed and keeping it going fast. You could set up a priority list in gamefuel on what devices you need the get the most data streams in gamefuel if you have devices all on at the same time but there isn't any direct bandwidth settings for this router. They might have those in other routers however this one probably not. Again, this router is about the speed and not limiting it.
