Good adapter recommendation
« on: July 27, 2010, 07:23:17 AM »

Anyone have a good recommendation for a wireless-N PCI/PCIe adapter for use with this router in a desktop?  I know most should work, just looking for something with optimal settings and options and that others have had success with, D-link or otherwise.  From a quick search, I only saw D-link products that run at 2.4Ghz.  While I am using that now, I don't plan on so forever (once I get another connection method for PS3 other than wireless G).

I've been using LevelOne WNC-0600 300Mbps N_One Wireless PCI Card for about 1 year, but had some problems with speed fluctuation (which later, after trying out different cards, turned out to be DGL4500 firmware problem)
Now using AWLH6090 Wireless 300N PCI Adapter, see no difference then LevelOne, both working well.
My "TV" computer is located next room from router about 15 feet apart, but the signal going trough 3 walls, it gets 95% signal strength, and can stream bluray movies from another computer with no problem.
Both cards are 2.4GHz though.
