Running 3 DIR 890L off one internet connection
« on: July 02, 2020, 02:25:19 PM »

I have a customer using 3 DIR 890L to cover a small motel operation.  How best to link these together? Right now I have one DIR 890L taking the internet connection from the modem (through a meracki switch) and handing off the internet via ethernet ports to the other 2 DIR 890L.  Is there a better way to connect these 3 for best operation and coverage??

I would configure the other 2 for AP mode:
Turning a router into an AP.

Do you plan on using them with Smart Connect Enabled?
What is the distance your placing them from the 1st 890? I recommend 30 feet or more in between if possible.
