Hi,

I am seeing a repeat behavior in the above versions of ViewCam. I am wanting to put my recorded files on a separate location, a NAS.

I have no issues with being able to get to my nas in Windows Explorer, I have no security constaints.

However, in all the above versions of ViewCam, under the storage settings I *cannot* add a different storage group and add the  UNC location of the NAS and the directory. It sets it cannot save the videos files to that location. In 4.1.1 and 4.0.5 it says the c: drive is already being used in the default storage group and cannot be duplicated.

So, I thought...hmmm...doesn't make sense but maybe a UNC cannot be used. So, I mapped a drive letter to that NAS. However, when I try to hit the "..." in the storage access under a new storage group the network drive does not even appear as an option. It seems only the C drive and the D drive (DVD) are the only options.

I have tried to run the installs of the ViewCam and the associated Device Packs in capability mode under Win 7 and with Run As Administrator. Still the same results.  Then was after uninstalls, registry cleaning (as much as could), D-Link ViewCam file removal, and reboots.

Any suggestions on how to get around this?
