off-SD card storage

Am I missing something here? If someone sees the camera and steals it, everything is lost? Is there anyway to automatically record footage in a place other than the SD card? Annoyingly I didn't realise this camera was not supported by the cloud storage.

You can record to local storage via D-View cam or use an NVR product.
