Scheduling...(HOW TO)

(1/2) > >>

drawie:
In the "schedule" page it is written that you can controle the access to the internet  for a specific device during a specified time periods. How is this done? ???javascript:void(0);

FurryNutz:
I think it might, however I'd have to check on that...I didn't get a good look at it as I've loaned mine out to my friend who's testing it out with multiple xbox consoles.  ;D

drawie,

Did you solve this?

I wish scheduling was implemented from the Home tab -> Connected Clients -> Pencil, but there is just allowed or blocked.

It can be done from Firewall -> IPv4 but it's not really user friendly...

Make sure the client have Reserved IP frome Home tab. Enter this IP into the rule as Source, for example 192.168.0.2-192.168.0.2, and destination 0.0.0.0-255.255.255.255, and port range 1-65535. Set Source at LAN, Destination at WAN and Port Range at Any. And select the schedule that you created under Managment tab -> Schedule.

Fredde thanks for your input. ;D

That's the way it worked for me.
-Check the time of the router and adjust it if necessary (this was my problem) ::)
-Reserve for every client an IP from the Home tab
-Create a schedule: Management tab - Schedule - Add Rule
-Create a IPv4 Rule: Feature tab - Firewall - IPv4 Rules -Add Rule
For example Source 192.168.0.2-192.168.0.2, and destination 0.0.0.0-255.255.255.255, and port range 1-65535.
Set Source at LAN, Destination at WAN and Port Range at Any. And select the schedule that you created under Management tab -> Schedule.
Importend:Select in the drop down Rule list ALLOW or DENY for the created rule.

FurryNutz:
Glad this is working for you. Thanks for sharing the set up info.

This will come in handy for future users.

Enjoy.  ;)
