DIR-100 Telnet crashes switch
« on: October 03, 2017, 03:31:50 AM »

Hello,

I've got a lot of DIR-100 routers working on my network.
When I try to telnet from Debian 9 Terminal DIR-100 freezes. If I use Putty telnet from the same system everything works just fine.
In other D-Link switches (eg. DES-3010G) telnet works just fine from this system. What could be the issue?

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

Something with the Debian 9 terminal maybe incompatible with the DIR series router.
