MJpeg Url without authentication
« on: April 30, 2014, 02:48:54 AM »

I have 2 DCS 7110.

One serves the mjpeg video stream without requesting authentication, the other asks for user/password.

Both are configured identically ...

This is especially strange because as far as I know you can not disable authentication for http access, just switch between basic and digest.

What could that be ?

p.s. The problem is not that my browser is authenticated for one of the cams and not the other. I tried with a new firefox profile.

The following thread contains various command line functions from different D-Link network camera models that can be embedded in the URL. You can try variants of these to see if adding the un/pw combination is supported by the DCS-7110.
