Any hardware differences?

I notice that Bx is not so stable like Ax version. I have problem with QoS on the new Bx h/w. I can't choose upload speed greater than 2Mb/s. I have 20/20 connection. Ax have not that issue.

Sometimes Boxee Box have problems with WiFi connection to DIR-655 H/W:B1. Every 20sec iz buffering video. I'm going back to Ax revision.

I recognise your problem. A friend of mine has a revision A5 which runs very stable. I received last week a revision B1 and have upgraded from the default firmeware v2.00 to the latest beta version 2.02B8. With firmware 2.00 I had trouble connecting Wifi and the DHCP server did not really seem to do a correct job. The upload speed is in my case also a problem. It can't determine the correct upload speed, sometimes it things is it just 1.6Mbit or 4.8Mbit while I have a 25Mbit up/down line. With the latest firmware you need to wait a minute or 4 after rebooting and then it seems to be done with its internal processes and work ok. So making and adjustment in the webinterface is not something I will do quickly because the internet won't be available for a couple of minutes :-( I hope they will bring an update soon to fix this.

Multicast does not seem to work in the latest beta firmware either :-( If I connect my iptv on the router it does not show anything on tv. If I connect the plug in the switch (which is placed after the router) directly there is no problem. And when Internet and iptv are connected together on the router it gets confused and gets slow and seems to trouble with the DHCP server on the iptv network. Even after a restart it takes very long before all pc's/mobiles get reconnected again. With a borrowed Linksys E4200 from a friend of mine there is no trouble at all. So it will be something in the firmware I guess.

My internet connection speeds are u20M/d3M, but in the firmware (still DIR-655_fw_revb_206b02_ALL_en_20120215) at QOS the maximum upload speed is 2M.

I am still waiting for the next one, where the maximum limit will be remove!

You should probably disable QoS or Traffic of your ISP Uplink is faster than 2Mb.

This will probably not be removed or adjusted as the 655 has been phased out of production.

I presume EU units will be soon as well.

One router that doesn't have this and has multiple UP and Down QoS options is the DIR-835 and 645.
