On D-Link global site (http://tsd.dlink.com.tw) now it is possible to download the WW 1.03 release [ Firmware:DNS-325 A2 FW V1.03(for WW) ] - firmware file is "DLINK_DNS325.1.03b03(1.23.0613.2012)(BETA).zip" (even if firmware file is named as 1.03b03, it is the same file of that one released on US ftp site - so 1.03b03 and 1.03 are the same release).

I just installed the Firmware and now I am getting this message every time Time Capsule Starts
Message from Server "dlink-49cdd4 Something is wrong with the Volumes CNID DB, using TemporaryCNID DB instead.

I checked the logs and nothing... Any ideas?  Thank you

I got help from this thread:
http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=41216.msg142805#msg142805
At the end of the day - the solution was to delete all .AppleDB files as instructed in 2nd post & drobo forum.

i installed v. 1.0.3 on my dns325.
In itunes server service i shared some folders of song compilations (various artists) that contain tag "compilation" with value = 1.
when i see the remote music in album view, Itunes doesn't read that it is a compilation. Infact  itunes shows different objects with same album name but different artist.
it is possible to fix it?

D-Link USA published v2.02b of the DNS-325 PhotoCenter App here: DNS-325 - PhotoCenter App version 2.02 beta

This latest version corrects the usability issues identified in the prior version.

Amen! I'd second the motion. Even if the FAQ was a collection of pointers to individual Forum topics for each item (which would probably bemore helfpul for everyone.)

I've found a ... ?quirk? that could be addressed.

I have the P2P running and I have a set of torrents in it that are community endeavors (not movies, etc.) and i was trying to find out where some traffic was coming from on my network so I hit the "Stop" button on each of the torrents for a moment so I could look and suddenly some of the started up again for "no reason".

My Setup:

  • DNS-325 w/ 1 3TB HD inserted
Amazon S3 application configured to incrementally backup folder + all subdirectories daily

Problem:

Never seems to complete the incremental backup. Always stops and gives up. When I look at the logs to find the last file successfully uploaded I always see this:

echoglass [05/Jun/2013:08:12:10 +0000] 70.79.56.3 REST.PUT.OBJECT Backup_backup/Past%2BProjects/Centenial%2Bbeach/ "PUT /echoglass/Backup_backup/Past+Projects/Centenial+beach/ HTTP/1.1" 200 - - 0 12 5 "-" "Mozilla/4.0 (Compatible; s3; libs3 1.4; Linux armv5tejl)" -

I cannot find any rhyme or reason as to why it stops on particular files.

What could be causing this?  ??? :o ::)

The legacy DNS-343 had issues completing backup jobs if the file names contained special characters. The DNS-325 is two generations ahead of the DNS-343, so I would presume they corrected that particular issue.  Based on your log entry I did notice that there are "+" signs in some of your file names. You may want to rename those and see if the job completes.

Java: Hmm, I thought we were out of the woods when it came to file naming conventions but I will check the logs and report back if I find a pattern. Thanks for your reply.  :)

edit1: It appears that the original file name contains a space where the '+' is
