The problem here is the lack of communication and updates.  While I have seen posts where you respond with passing the details along to the team.  I never see any follow up.  The issues go week/months without an update... since most of them have been there since 1.10.  There is also no general update that a planned Beta is upcoming.

I really hope not to see the support for the 4500 just vanish and move on to another version.  I had that happen to me with the Linksys WRV54G.   You could tell they released it way to early and never got it working correctly.  Instead they just released new versions and pretty much left it to die.

Feel the exact same way and was even part of the WRV54G experiment as you were. Been with Dlink ever since and have had a really good string until the 4500. I applaud this forum, just wish there was a little more communication back to us.

Thanks Lycan for the update.

I hope it gets resolved soon.  I miss having a lot of functionality with my router.

Kudos to you Lycan, thanks again for an update.  It was well needed.

I hope it fixes the router. However, i doubt the my router's OLED screen will work again. :(

We do not have a newer model scheduled for release. The unit is under inspection and we think we've narrowed the issue down. I hope to hear PM's test results today.

any update?

We're testing beta code as we speak.

I thought it was just me, I've noticed a lot of lag under heavy network traffic after the move from 1.02 to 1.13

Also, didn't really notice this before, but does Gamefuel auto classification work properly? Ive noticed basically all connection have a default classification of 128, include torrent traffic.

Is it possible to flash the firmware back to an older version (1.13 -> 1.02) or no?

You can step down to 1.12 but nothing lower.
