Logging Torrents
« on: September 17, 2015, 04:30:12 PM »

Hi, is there anyway I can see if there are any torrents (running on devices connected to the router) - either currently or  in the past?

I think someone that is connected to the router maybe torrenting - which isn't allowed!

Thanks

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

Not sure if logging will capture anything regarding torrents. You my need to seek a external DDNS service or a actual firewall appliance (DFL) device to help with management of Torrent traffic as torrent traffic uses random ports.

You could attempt to Mac Filter however this would block the device entirely.

Is this in a house hold or business?
