Re-Indexing media sever
« on: October 28, 2016, 05:33:52 AM »

Hi All,
From the UK, I hope that's not an issue ;)
I'm having trouble with the stock UPnP AV Server.
I've moved, renamed and rearranged my media files via windows and refreshed the server via the web interface. When I access my media via my tv the ghosts of the original files remain.
Is there a way to clean this up or am I better off trying one of the add-on media servers like Plex or mini dlna?

Regards

Ollie

No thoughts on dealing with the stock media server? I've tried locating hidden files to see if there was an index file I could delete to no avail.

As an aside I've installed mini dlna and disabled the stock server and all seems to be working as I would expect.
