Title: mydlink and Firefox 4
Post by: JavaLawyer on May 10, 2011, 06:28:51 PM
I am unable to login to mydlink using Firefox 4.  I enter my username and password and receive the following message "The words you entered do not match the picture below."

The problem is that there is no picture.  I can login without issue to IE on the same PC.  Java is installed.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?  Are there any resolutions?

Bump. . .

Still unable to get mydlink functioning with Firefox 4.  All logic says that it should be working.  Any thoughts given the symptoms described in my prior post?

Go to Tools > Add-Ons to see if there's any compatibility issues.

That's the first thing I did.  I know it works with Firefox 4, based on other user comments.  Not sure what's unique about this instance of the application.

UPDATE:  For some unknown reason, mydlink just started working with Firefox 4.  No idea what the issue was.  No changes were made to this particular PC, no new installs/updates.  That's technology for you.  ???

I encountered the same problem before. What I did is downgrade my Firefox version to 3.6 and it works perfectly fine from then. Latest Mozilla version sucks.
