Title: my DCS-935 always broadcast own DCS-xxxx-xxxxx wifi networks
Post by: fomy on August 31, 2017, 12:15:05 PM
hi everybody,
First of all, sorry for my english, i am french  ;D  ;D ;D
I have a problem, after having completely configured my camera, it still broadcasts its wifi network: DCS-935L-XXXXX.
I believe this happened after the firmware update 1.10
I have other dlink camera, 932L, 5020, it is the only one that continues to broadcast its wifi network after being completely configured. an idea ?
thanks in advance.

I will pass this along to the camera group to verify.

After upgrading the firmware, reset the camera and set up/configure again.

Unfortunately no,
I have reset the camera many times.
I reapplied the firmware also without success.
strangely, after the configuration the network disappears but at the first restart of the camera, it returns ...

yes it will broadcast the DCS-953xxx adhoc mode for few seconds and disappear when connected to your router.
rev A1 with firmware 1.10.  It is actually an "annoying" feature of some dlink IP cams. :)
