Title: Does the 5030 support 5 Ghz wifi?
Post by: pspens on October 31, 2018, 03:48:24 PM
I have a Netgear router which supports 5 GHz and I didn't even consider trying to set up my cameras to the 5 GHz band.  But I would like to if possible.

No. Most cameras on the market support 2.4GHz only. IP cameras generally do not require the bandwidth that 5Ghz offers and 2.4Ghz has better range than 5.

The only cameras from D-Link that support 5ghz are:

- DSC-C310 Omna Cam
- DCS-935L
- DCS-2136L
- DCS-2630L
- DCS-7000L (not sold in the US)
