By the way, just found out the SB6580 was released. Not what you want (since the 6580 has a router, and you have a much better router already) but the thing does have 8 downstream channels compared to the 6120's 4. I don't any ISP's are bonding 8 yet buy...::taps fingertips together:: I may just get one to play.

Hellllll no. ::grin:: I don't even need 4. Heck, since your connection is only as good as the adverage in the game your playing(in multiplayer) and the adverage is like 4-7Mb, my speed is over kill. But thats how I learn. :-) Next project is installing WRT on a DIR-615. Never did mod my DGL, the putting it on my case fan too cool it worked too well to make it worth it.

PS..Your talking to a guy who build a 4k$ gaming machine....I don't game with it. ::duck::

Well I used it for a testing platform for different systems, so I was swapping out parts and trying different set ups. I ended up with enough stuff to probably build 3 PC's. heh. Taught me the difference in OC AMD and Intel. Driver issues between AMD and Nvida. How to use different RAIDS and a how to record via HDMI, the subtlties of SSD and how to get the best performance. When you think about it though, someone may have paid a 1000$ for 4 credits from a college to learn some of that stuff, and I just learned it from buying the hardware. And now I get to keep the hardware. And its not that I don't use the PC. I am using it now. Its just I don't use it to its full power. I need to give it a overhaul soon. Maybe when the new Diablo game comes out.

Yea, I saw that. Very cool. Kind of what I was thinking of doing with mine, but then money/time took a downfall. I also notice they have Cox as their ISP. I recognize that coaxial a mile away. I miss my 4300. Oh Dlink, you heart-breaker you. LOL

Article about different routers:

I guess the DGL-4500 isn't good enough anymore.  :-[ Oh well, I still love it. Wonder if the 855 is any good?
I went online with WRT today. Haven't had a chance to game yet. Will see how it goes. Think the UI could use some work though.
