Title: DGS-3324SR How to get rid of SNMP?
Post by: mosi on March 07, 2012, 05:47:12 AM
I hope anyone here in this forum can help me out with this feature that I've been trying to get rid of. My scanner software says that SNMP port UDP-161 is open? I deleted all the features available in my Switch model DGS-3324SR IOS VER. 4.40-B04 and readings still says that port is open?

The gold is to get rid of that feature or make sure it does not show up any more on the scans? I would appreciate if someone has any idea on how to turn that off or get rid of it.

Thank you
Mosi

This doesn't seem like a switch issue. have you checked your firewall?
