Default Port Issue
« on: May 10, 2014, 12:31:21 PM »

I recently purchased the DCS-933L camera to monitor my vacation home. I have 4 other webcams by Panasonic
configured and running. When I installed this camera the DCS933L, it conflicted with one of the Panasonic cameras and both were configured to  Port 80. I would appreciate a step by step instruction on how to change the port to 8080 or another 4 digit port. I use 5 digit ports generally for the Panasonic cameras with that one camera exception.
Thanks in advance for your help

Do you use port forwarding? What router do you own?

Did that post help you out enough to move forward or do you have additional questions?

Am away from all cameras for a few days but will try. How is tech support on these issues?

I can't say as I haven't leveraged the toll free technical support for this type of application.  Setting up port forwarding isn't too difficult. You'll need to log into your router web UI and find the port forwarding page. The only key piece of information you really need is the camera IP address and choosing a port to forward to.  The post I provided should give a pretty good understanding of what's required.
