Title: DNS-343 Can't connect / map network drives.
Post by: cdplayer on November 08, 2010, 02:39:40 PM
Hello!

I am using a DNS-343. When I used the D-link CD that came with the unit I can no longer create or connect/map the drives. I was connect to the network drives at one time. I remember the computer coming up. There were red X over the network drives so I deleted them.  What pops up now is a dialog box that is asking for a username and password. I don't remember reading anything about a usernane & password... ???

Users have reported that their third party firewall products sometimes play havoc with the drive mapping.  Also read that the MS firewall in Vista is known to cause some issues.
