High resolution 1080 keeps defaulting to 720 after closing app

Has anyone had or have had this issue, when I switch to 1080 resolution I can watch a live video but once I close the app, it reverts back to 720 resolution for motion detection or viewing. I have this mounted outside on the garage so it would be a bit of a pain to have to try and reboot the camera if that would resolve the issue, any advice would be appreciated unless, is this normal

Once you set it for 1080 and close the app it defaults to 720 for the app view when looking at the settings, but still set for 1080

how do you determine which resolution the camera is last set at, it’s not apparent which setting is highlighted when you go to live mode, on the bottom it shows 720 on the app view as you mention but when you go to select the resolution you want, which one is selected, one is blue and the other is white, I assume the one that is highlighted in white is the one it is set at ?  Thanks
