I have a samsung tv with allshare app that i was able to stream movies from my pc to with trendnet dual band router, now that i installed this router it is picking up the media server but when i click on a movie it states format not support at this time. it then logs off media server and reappers approx. 5 minutes later. its not allowing me to stream movies from pc to xbox 360 either. any suggestions?

after downloading tversity (media server program) it works now. there must be some conflict with windows media server and this router.

- What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
- What region are you located?
- Enable uPnP (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Upnp) and Multi-cast Streaming (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multicast) under Advanced/Networking. Disable uPnP for testing Port Forwarding rules. Enable IPv6 Multi-cast Streaming for routers that have a Media Server option. Disable IPv6 Multi-cast Streaming if IPv6 or Media Server is not being used.

hardware version is A1 firmware is 1.10ww. it still isn't working with windows media center after adjusting the settings.

What region are you located?
Was a full reboot performed on the router after making the adjustments and did you reboot the PC or devices as well?
What OS platform is Windows Media Center running on?
-
Colorado?
Windows 7
Full reboot was done

Ok so NA region.
Have you set up Reserved IP addressed for all devcies ON the router?
"firmware is 1.10ww." Was this preloaded when you got the router or did you update manually?
-
No reserved ip's set. I have notice on the list of devices their is one device labeled unknown which I am thinking is my tv because the other router picked it up. firmware was preloaded. I checked for an update but there wasn't one.

Lets reserve the IP addresses for each device. You can edit the uknown host name so you can identify what the device actually is when you add the reservation then save.
We might try a reload of FW found on the NA web site. WW is world wide however since you are in the NA region, could be a different here.
