Random connection loss

Hello, i have a DIR-1950 router, its been doing good for the last few weeks but ive noticed that some times it drops internet connection, wired and wireless. i cant even use my chrome browser to access the router (, the page times out, the fix i have so far is to just reboot the router and its fine for a few days and it happens again. I set up the router to reboot every morning now but it just happened tonight and its only been a day since its last connection drop.  i cant take it back to best buy since its been a couple of months so my only option is the warranty by the manufacture. are there any tricks i could try before requesting to send it in?
